Membership

There is a waiting list to get into the swimming club.  There are minimum standard guidelines for getting in to the swimming club and these are also published on the swimming club noticeboard.  To put your name on the waiting list or if you require further information, please contact the Membership Secretary (see the Contacts page).  Trials to get into the club will normally be held once every term just before the half term holiday. They will take place during the normal Bronze Squad training session on a Thursday between 4.30pm and 5.15pm.

We have restructured our membership fees to include one adult as a member with each child. This is considered necessary because to have a vote at any of the club meetings you have to be a member.

Prices (2009-2010) Annual Membership

Junior membership (17&under) - £30 (this includes one swimmer and one adult)

Family membership - £60 (includes all swimmers aged 17 and under in the same family plus one adult)

Adult/Masters/Social/Committee Member/Coach - £15

• All annual membership payments are payable in September of each year.
• On top of this swimmers are required to pay for the swimming sessions every month by standing order; the cost varying depending upon the number of sessions chosen.
• Holiday swimming sessions (Summer 2009) are charged at £3.40 per session attended regardless of the number of sessions per week swum. These fees will be charged on the next term's bill. From September 2009 the holiday swimming session fees will be part of the standing order.
• From September 2009, there will be a change to the charging structure. Swimmers will pay for sessions by standing order for sessions attended in the following bands:

2009- 2010 Session Costs

Band A: One session per week (Bronze/Silver Squads) 11 month standing order of £12.98 per month

Band B: Two sessions per week (Bronze/Silver/Gold Squads) 11 month standing order of £25.58 per month

Band C: Three sessions per week (Silver/Gold Squads) 11 month standing order of £32.64 per month

Band D: Unlimited sessions per week (Gold Squad only) 11 month standing order of £41.81 per month
