Devon County ASA President
Congratulations to Mel Jeynes who has been made President of Devon county ASA for the year 2010 to 2011. The club presented him with a tankard to commemorate his appointment.
Third In Devon 2010
Kingsbridge Kingfishers came third in the 2010 Devon Inter-Club Championships behind Plymouth Leander and Dinnaton (and half a point ahead of Barnstaple!)
Club Championships 2009
The Club championships are now fianlly over and the results of each sessions (after completion and checking) are available below. Very many thanks to all those who helped during the competition - we couldn't have done it without you!
As is always the case there will be a few queries about disqualifications. You are reminded that we run the Club Championships under ASA rules and swimmers are only disqualified when there is no doubt that they have breached these rules. For further information please click here. If a swimmer has been disqualified, the results contain a line explaining what they have been disqualified for.
The results appear as the same age groups for both girls and boys (up to 15 and over), but the scores are adjusted for the correct age groups.
At the Presentation Evening, the following were awarded the trophies:
Bronze Squad - Otillie Whelan
Silver Squad - Seb Dickens
Gold Squad - Holly Gunner
Laker Wong at The Nationals 2009
Laker Wong swam the race of his life to win a Bronze Medal in the Boys 12 years 100m breaststroke at the National Age Group Championships!
