Journey Time

By road – From Kingsbridge, approximately 45 minutes.

From Kingsbridge A379 to Plymouth.  Follow signs into City Centre from Plymstock, passing Morrisons (left hand side).  Take second exit off roundabout onto Laira Bridge.  Pass the Jet petrol station, after second set of traffic lights, bear left onto Gdynia Way.  At Cattedown Roundabout, take the first exit onto Exeter Street.  Continue on this road  to Charles Cross Roundabout (bombed out Church).  Take second exit off roundabout – Charles Street (Drakes Circus shopping mall will be on your left hand side).  Follow road up keeping to the two lanes on the left side,  signposted for Tavistock A386 / Train station. Continue on this road to North Cross Roundabout and take the second exit, signed Tavistock A386.   At next roundabout (Pennycomequick) – take second exit, signed Tavistock A386 / Alma Road.  On passing the bus depot on the left hand side, take the right fork for Tavistock A386/Hospital Casualty.  Follow signs to turn right into the Life Centre car park.

From the A38, travel over the flyover at Marsh Mills, passing Sainsburys on the left and Marsh Mills Retail Park on the right.  Continue along the A38 Parkway and come off at the exit for Manadon Roundabout.  At roundabout, take the second exit signed City Centre A386.  Join traffic on Outland Road.  Continue on Outland Road, passing Devonport High School for Girls on the right hand side and then Plymouth Argyle football ground on your left.  Take the next turning on the left after the one to the Vets Practices, as the road bends to the left towards the City Centre.
