Journey

By road - From Kingsbridge, approximately 1 ¾ hours.

M5 - Pass 'The Wicker Man', then take J23 (Glastonbury/Street/Clarks Village).  On the roundabout, take the 3rd exit signposted to Glastonbury/Street (A39).  On arriving into Street, pass McDonalds and Sainsburys on your left side, carry straight on, passing through a couple sets of traffic lights. Clarks Village will be on your right hand side. Continue down to the roundabout - take the 2nd exit signposted Somerton.  2nd exit across the mini-roundabout up to the next set of traffic lights where you will see the Millfield School sign.  Turn left at these traffic lights (North Side Car Park/left hand side).  If you wish to drop swimmers off by the pool, continue past this car park and take the next turning on the right.  Follow this road until you see the entrance to pool car park (right side), signed Medical Centre.

Parking

Free parking. Occasionally, you will be permitted to park next to the pool but often, you will be directed to park in the North Side Car Park, however, swimmers can be dropped off near the pool first.  Please note that if you have parked in the North Side Car Park, you will need to walk through the school campus to get to the pool - this will add a further 10 minutes onto your "journey time".

Refreshments

Bring your own.  Some galas at Millfield will have a food counter selling food/drinks but you will need to check with event organisers for each gala.  Vending machines can be found on site selling energy drinks and sweets.  Alternatively, Clarks Village is approx 15-20 minutes walk away where there are a number of food outlets selling hot meals, sandwiches, baked potatoes and Burger King (the latter is obviously for non-competitors!).
