Getting to Quayside

Quayside Leisure Centre is right in the heart of Kingsbridge, just a few minutes' walk from the town centre and the Quay.

By car: You can travel to the centre using the full address above or what3words reference for your Sat Nav.


Parking: There are two car park options operated by South Hams District Council: The Quay car park (TQ7 1HN) sits in front of the leisure centre, making it the easiest option for drop-off and pick-up, there are some steps that lead up to the centre. The Cattle Market car park (TQ7 1HH) sits just behind the centre, and you then walk down a path to the Centre avoiding steps. Parking can be paid for by using the Pay-By-Phone app or using a meter in the car park before you walk to the centre. Charges apply daily.


There is also on-street parking nearby, though spaces can get busy at peak times. Please note, some streets only allow short stay parking.


Disabled parking: Parking at the centre itself is reserved for staff and disabled access. There are designated accessible parking bays available close to the main entrance of the centre. The centre itself is wheelchair accessible, with step-free access throughout.


By bus: Kingsbridge Bus Station is a short walk from the leisure centre, with regular services connecting Kingsbridge to surrounding towns and villages across the South Hams, and to Plymouth.
